Prof. Carlo Bartolozzi
- Born in Venice August 13th , 1947.
- 1972 - Graduated from Medical School at the University of Padua.
- 1980 - Associate Professor in Radiology at the University of Florence.
- Since 1990 - Full Radiology Professor at the University of Pisa and Director of the Chair of Radiology and Chairman of the Radiology Residency Program at the University of Pisa.
- 1999 - 2007 Director of the Department of Oncology, Transplants, and Advanced Technologies in Medicine of the University of Pisa.
- 2004-2008 Director of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University Hospital of Pisa.
- Since 2011 Director of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital of Pisa.
- 2011- He was awarded the highest recognition of the University of Pisa “Cherubino d’oro”.
- Coordinated the University of Pisa research Group in 10 European Union funded projects.
- Visiting Professor at the Universities of Chicago and Cambridge.
- 2000 - 2001 President of the European Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB).
- 2005 - 2007 President of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR).
