The 29th Iranian Congress of Radiology is going to be held at a very specific time in terms of Iranian Scientific, Political and Economic history.
During recent years, significant scientific advances have occurred in Iran in spite of the fact that the country is facing hardship because of social, economic and politic sanctions and this only goes to show the ability of Iranian scientists under such conditions.
Due to the close correlation between Radiology, Technology and medical equipment (which are mostly assembled and admixed outside the country) , our colleagues had experienced a number of problems and unfavorable conditions, but these have not deterred them in presenting their lectures in international congresses or their articles in ISI journals, thus participating in the advancement of science.
The 29th ICR with the participation of scientists from all over the world is an auspicious occasion for honorable guests and participants to refresh their knowledge while meeting colleagues and friends in a scientific and technological environment.
I hope this congress proves to be a great experience for all involved.
